A new industrial park on 267 acres of Goodyear cotton fields and a large new Surprise manufacturer offer evidence that the West Valley continues to attract employers despite national economic uncertainties. The following new developments are currently in progress:
Goodyear Air park
- Lincoln Property Co. plans to build the 267 acre industrial park near Litchfield road and Arizona 85. The project will include 15 buildings with more the 3 million square feet.
- The 72 acre industrial park, also being developed by Lincoln Property Group, is near 83rd Ave and Interstate 10, just outside of Tolleson. Five buildings will include more than 1 million square feet.
- The company, which manufactures truck bodies, generators and other parts, moved into a 165,000 square-foot building in Surprise’s Southwest Railplex this summer.
